A 90 Minute drive up the I-10 brought us to our hotel for the next 3 days. We connected with our friends and decided to spend Sunday attending the Chinese Week Culture and Cuisine Festival at Steele Indian School Park in Phoenix, Arizona. Lots of good food and performance acts at the stage area. The field was filled with residents celebrating the start of the year of the rabbit. It was the first time, since the beginning of the Pandemic, and you could feel the people enjoying a return to a more normal life.

On Monday we were taken to the Odysea Aquarium, which is in the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is a marine aquarium, and the largest aquarium in the Southwest United States. It holds more than 2,000,000 US gallons of water and spans over 200,000 square feet, which is absolutely HUGE. It is filled with different tanks of fish, sea lions, penguins and turtles. We were impressed with the presentation, and extras that you could purchase for your young children, such as a penguin encounter or diving with the fish. Prices for these things are not cheap, so know that going in.
Tomorrow, we head back to Tucson and our ride home.
