We recently spent a few hours in the brand-new Moynihan Metropolitan Lounge in Penn Station. Of all the Metropolitan Lounges we have visited over the years, this one is far ahead of the others. Spacing between passengers is very good, and we felt safe, while sitting there.
As to the food, I got a berry scone that was huge, with an iced tea. My Husband got a panini with a bottle of soda. We both enjoyed our lunch. As you can see, the chairs are super comfortable, and there are multiple boards letting you know the status of your train. I highly recommend visiting this lounge, if you are a non-coach passenger, on one of the long distance trains.
